While I certainly enjoy decorating for the different Holidays, Halloween is certainly a double edge sword.
The pumpkin bags are filled with needles and leaves. Those do not hop in the bags themselves…lol. As you can see there is a layer of needles in just one part of the yard that needs be raked and bagged.
Fortunately for me, I enjoy the outside work during the North Idaho fall months. The long shadows, cool but not cold temps, softer sunlight, glimpses of the year past coming to an end. A chance to peacefully reflect, while loosing ones self with the work at hand.
