As the new week approaches, North Idaho is expecting a series of intermittent rain showers. While this may not sound like the most exciting forecast, the mid-50’s temperature range that accompanies the rain is sure to bring about a welcome change. The rain is expected to leave behind a fresh and clean feeling, and bring a burst of color to the landscape.
As the rain comes and goes, the valley floor will be left with a sparkling clean coating, while the ridges of the Selkirk and Cabinet Mountains will soon be the only places to see a dusting of white. So, while the weather may not be perfect, there is still something to look forward to in the beauty and freshness that the rain will bring to North Idaho.
